Base pay range

A$90,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

About the Role:

As the WHS & IM Officer, you will be responsible for:

Implementing and improving WHS programs and procedures to ensure a strong safety culture.

Managing and investigating workplace incidents and injuries, ensuring thorough documentation and analysis.

Facilitating the safe and effective return-to-work process for injured workers.

Providing advice and support to management and staff on all matters relating to WHS and injury management.

Ensuring compliance with relevant WHS legislation and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures to mitigate hazards.

Promote a proactive safety culture through training and awareness programs.

Manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate rehabilitation services.

Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external service providers to achieve optimal WHS and injury management outcomes.

Maintain accurate records and contribute to regular safety reporting.

About You:

Proven experience in Work Health and Safety (WHS) and Injury Management.

Knowledge of relevant NSW and Commonwealth WHS legislation.

Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage a diverse caseload and drive positive WHS outcomes.

Relevant qualifications in WHS, or a related field, are highly desirable.
