Operations Readiness Specialist

Overview

The Operations Readiness Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring our brownfield ramp-up projects are ready for safe and reliable start-up. This specialist will assist in managing the operational readiness delivery portfolio of brownfield projects, track readiness deliverables including spare parts lists, asset registers, O&M manuals, and vendor documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with commissioning and operations teams to identify and address operational requirements.
  • Provide documentation, training, and support to ensure teams are prepared to operate and maintain systems.
  • Participate in system walkdowns and punch list resolution.
  • Drive continuous improvement and embed risk-based approaches in all project phases.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a tertiary degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Instrumentation) and at least 5 years' experience in mineral processing or heavy industrial plants, with at least 2 years in operational readiness. Proficient in SAP (PM, MM) and Microsoft Office is also required. Additionally, strong problem-solving and analytical skills, familiarity with Australian engineering and construction practices, and excellent stakeholder management and communication skills are essential.
