TLEA is welcoming applications for a full-time Operations Readiness Engineer (Ramp-up) to join our team, working at our Kwinana plant.

As Operations Readiness Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring our brownfield ramp-up projects are ready for safe and reliable start-up. You'll support the development and handover of operational systems, ensuring maintenance and production teams are equipped to achieve plant stability and performance targets.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in managing the operational readiness delivery portfolio of brownfield projects.
• Track readiness deliverables including spare parts lists, asset registers, O&M manuals, and vendor documentation.
• Liaise between commissioning and operations teams to identify and address operational requirements.
• Provide documentation, training, and support to ensure teams are prepared to operate and maintain systems.
• Participate in system walkdowns and punch list resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement and embed risk-based approaches in all project phases.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical & Instrumentation).
• Minimum 5 years' experience in mineral processing or heavy industrial plants, with at least 2 years in operational readiness.
• Proficient in SAP (PM, MM) and Microsoft Office.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Familiarity with Australian engineering and construction practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  
  

Desireable Requirements

• Previous site-based experience in construction/commissioning environments.
• Familiarity with operations readiness frameworks (e.g., OR&A, ORP).
• Experience with digital technologies in project phases.
• Contribute to a green and sustainable industry of the future.

LOCATION

TLEA proudly acknowledges and the Whadjuk and Gnaala Karla Boodja people of the Noongar Nation, as the traditional custodians of the Kwinana area, where we operate our plant.

Kwinana is 38 km from the Perth central business district, 20 km from City of Fremantle and just 7km from Rockingham.
