About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to join our team in Australia. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the HR strategy is embedded within the Australia business and is accountable for delivering high-quality proactive HR guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the strategic HR business plan for the Australasian business unit.
  • Develop bespoke plans for individual projects where appropriate and aligned to the overall Contract Mining vision.
  • Coach and mentor leaders and Human Resource Business Partners.
  • Assist in the development, negotiation, and implementation of relevant Enterprise Agreements.
  • Manage formal grievance investigations and dispute resolution, as required.
  • Manage applications submitted to FWC and where appropriate act on behalf of the company.
Requirements
  • A tertiary qualification or significant professional working experience in a senior HR generalist role, preferably within the mining and/or resources sector.
  • Exceptional communicator with demonstrated ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong ability to analyse data to determine performance and action.
  • Ability to influence and drive change.
  • Proven ability to apply knowledge of employment legislation, awards, and agreements, policies, and best practice.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple, diverse projects.
