As a vital member of our team at Mercy Place Wyndham, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the wellbeing of our residents through the planning and delivery of engaging individual and group activity programs.
- Create and facilitate lifestyle programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities, ensuring every resident has a fulfilling day.
- Lead and train a team of Lifestyle Assistants and volunteers, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes personal growth and development.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A Certificate IV in Lifestyle & Leisure (Diversional Therapy) or similar qualification.
- Minimum 12 months experience in a lifestyle or personal care role within an aged care setting.
- Current First Aid Level II certification.
- Highly motivated personality with excellent communication and leadership skills, and a passion for teaching and making a positive impact.
- Proven ability to deliver recreational activities and work effectively as part of a dynamic team.
