Job Opportunity: Financial Markets Risk Assurance Professional

We are seeking technically proficient professionals with experience in Financial Markets and Treasury functions. Several promising opportunities have arisen to oversee business-as-usual activities, as well as regulatory reporting and project-related risks within Institutional Banking.

  • Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc assurance activities for the Finance & Treasury Control function, ensuring alignment with Group Risk strategy.
  • Conduct independent reviews on the effectiveness of key business controls as part of the 2nd Line of Defense.
  • Implement governance and risk policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Document findings, provide assurance opinions, and collaborate with the business to challenge and improve controls.
  • Perform deep dives into Business, Project, Tender, and Investment risk profiles.
  • Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Ops Risk, Compliance, and Audit.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of hands-on risk assurance experience in Financial Markets, Treasury, or Institutional Banking.
  • Strong knowledge of Global Markets and Treasury Control workflows.
  • Experience in designing and executing testing plans, review scopes, and reports.
  • Proven ability to develop and implement operational risk frameworks from a holistic perspective.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong initiative to deliver results.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting for MiFID, CFTC, etc., and/or critical review is highly desirable.
