Senior Assurance Professional Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Assurance professional to join our Business Assurance and Advisory Services team. As a key member of our team, you will have a strong background in Project Management Risks, Risk Assessment, Business Process, and IT General Controls.

This role requires a deep understanding of SOX and other relevant compliance frameworks, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects focused on providing assurance services around risk assessment, controls evaluation, and compliance initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients to develop and implement effective business and risk assurance strategies.
  • Provide assurance on ESG compliance and/or SOX compliance and other regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders, summarising findings and recommendations.
  • Mentor and support junior team members in their professional development.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to risk management and compliance.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Technology, or a related field.
  • One or more of the following or equivalent +3 years of experience in providing assurance over Risk and Controls (Business Process and/or IT General Controls), Program and Project Risk Management services, Regulatory Compliance (e.g., Privacy, Soc Act, ESG, SOX, Spam Act), Controls transformation.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with clients and team members.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CA, CIA, CPA, CISA, PMP) are a plus.
