Risk and Assurance Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Health and Safety professional to join our Technical Services team. As a key member, you will contribute to the effectiveness of our Health and Safety Risk management and Assurance functions.
Your responsibilities will include providing strategic recommendations for policy development to improve safety performance, reviewing and analysing Health and Safety data from various sources, and collaborating with stakeholders to inform decision-making.
You will also support the continuous improvement of Health and Safety processes, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and mitigating risks in a large-scale infrastructure environment.

- Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
To succeed in this role, you will require an extensive background in risk assessments and evaluating critical risk treatment and assurance plans, as well as strong understanding of Rail Safety, construction Safety, Occupational Health, and Heavy Vehicle Safety requirements.
A proactive, analytical, and results-driven approach to driving safety outcomes is essential, along with the ability to influence senior leadership decisions by identifying areas for improvement.
