Job Description

We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Risk Assurance Managers. This role involves overseeing business activities, regulatory reporting, and project-related risks within Institutional Banking. The successful candidate will be integral to the 2LoD Operational Risk & Compliance function.

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

  • Schedule and Ad Hoc Activities: Deliver scheduled and ad hoc assurance activities for the Finance & Treasury Control function, ensuring alignment with Group Risk & Compliance strategy.
  • Independent Reviews: Conduct independent reviews on the effectiveness of key business controls as part of the 2nd Line of Defense.
  • Governance and Risk: Implement governance and risk policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Findings and Assurance: Document findings, provide assurance opinions, and collaborate with the business to challenge and improve controls.
  • Deep Dives: Perform deep dives into Business, Project, Tender, and Investment risk profiles.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must have:

  • Hands-On Experience: 3-5 years of hands-on risk assurance experience in Financial Markets, Treasury, or Institutional Banking.
  • Global Markets Knowledge: Strong knowledge of Global Markets and Treasury Control workflows.
  • Testing and Review: Experience in designing and executing testing plans, review scopes, and reports.
  • Operational Risk Frameworks: Proven ability to develop and implement operational risk frameworks for large organizations from a holistic perspective.
  • Self-Motivated: Self-motivated with a proactive approach and strong initiative to deliver results.
  • Regulatory Reporting: Experience in regulatory reporting for MiFID, CFTC, GDR, EFSet, etc., and/or critical review is highly desirable.
