Treasury Risk Assurance Specialist

We are seeking highly skilled professionals with expertise in financial markets, treasury and group finance functions to manage day-to-day assurance activities of the Institutional Bank's Finance & Treasury Control function.

  • Deliver scheduled and ad-hoc assurance activities.
  • Perform independent reviews on the effectiveness of key business controls.
  • Implement governance and risk policies, procedures and programs.
  • Document findings and deliver assurance opinions.
  • Maintain a cohesive working relationship with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day assurance activities for the Institutional Bank's Finance & Treasury Control function.
  • Ensure assurance and monitoring programs are aligned to Group Risk & Compliance strategy.

Skill Requirements:

  • 3-5 years hands-on risk assurance experience in Financial Markets, Banking Treasury or Finance.
  • Sound knowledge of Global Markets and Treasury Control workflows.
  • Adept in designing and executing testing plans, review scopes and reports.
  • Experienced in developing and implementing operational risk frameworks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in regulatory reporting for MiFID, CFTC, GDR etc. and/or critical review is highly beneficial.

Qualifications:

  • Degree qualified in a relevant field (e.g. accounting, finance, risk management).
  • Professional certifications such as CAIA, FRM, CPA would be an advantage.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
