Job Description

We're seeking a Technical Systems Quality Assurance Specialist to oversee software testing as part of our collaborative team.

This role involves leading quality reviews of various applications, creating test plans and strategies, and working with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure code conformity to system requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience in Cards & Payments area, VisionPLUS application, and client requirement review. They will also assist in defining QA coding standards and frameworks, identifying emerging technologies, and evaluating their applicability to client goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Sound knowledge in Cards & Payments area and good experience in VisionPLUS application.
  • Reviews client requirements and provides feedback.
  • Develops test objectives, organizational test policies, test strategies, and test plans in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Schedules tests for execution and monitors, measures, controls, and reports on test progress, product quality status, and test results.
  • Re-evaluates the test strategy to adjust for new information, changing risks, shifting priorities, and schedules.
  • Oversees projects to ensure work is scheduled based on priorities, risks, and team strengths.
  • Assists in test environment setup/teardown and exploratory testing.
  • Provides solutions for issues/errors based on system understanding and client business processes.
  • Learns and shares knowledge to ensure QA staff meets technical qualifications.
  • Assists in mentoring testers, helps them make decisions, solve problems, and manage meetings.
Requirements:
  • Experience in testing various applications, services, and user interfaces.
  • Good communication skills with clients.
  • Understanding of software development lifecycle and best practices.
  • Strong knowledge of software quality assurance best practices and methodologies.
  • Familiarity with defect management systems and process.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between QA and development teams.
What We Offer:

A competitive salary range of $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
