The Business Operational Risk Manager role involves supporting the Counterparty Onboarding team in Sydney. This exciting opportunity requires promoting a strong risk culture and driving operational resilience within a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting the RCSA process to ensure effective risk identification and management.
- Validating controls are well-designed and functioning as intended, providing expert risk guidance to senior stakeholders in alignment with policies and frameworks.
- Investigating incidents, addressing root causes, developing remediation plans, and collaborating with senior management to enhance operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in risk management or internal control roles, such as internal or external audit, ideally within client onboarding or financial crime areas.
- Demonstrated expertise in conducting RCSA and performing control assurance activities.
- A continuous improvement mindset, balancing commercial objectives within a risk framework.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective engagement with senior stakeholders and collaboration on policy requirements.
- Proven ability to work independently while fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholders.
