Philanthropy Executive Role Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and results-driven Philanthropy Executive to join our team. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will play a vital role in securing and retaining high-value support for our organization.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of fundraising experience, with a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service and managing high-stake events and projects. You will be responsible for developing meaningful engagement plans for major donors, working closely with our Philanthropy Relationship Manager to ensure timely and effective communication.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and strategic thinker to make a real impact in our organization's mission to save the lives of all children with cancer and improve their long-term health through research.

About the Role
  • Develop and execute bespoke engagement plans for major donors, utilizing data and historical CRM information to deliver targeted communications.
  • Support the Philanthropy team through prospect research, contributing towards annual acquisition targets.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure supporter communications are on-brand, timely, and targeted.
  • Track and report on the impact of philanthropic activities, demonstrating the value of donations to donors and stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of fundraising experience or transferrable skills from other work experience.
  • Experience working with mid-high value supporters and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Experience managing high-stake events and projects, using project management tools.
  • Ability to manage all stages of donor pipelines, from prospect research to cultivation.
