The company is seeking a Compliance Manager to lead the risk management process and ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Description

The role involves managing risks across the firm, including Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF), Australian Financial Services Licence (AFSL), Australian Credit Licence (ACL), and Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand (CAANZ).

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide training and support on risk and compliance matters to colleagues.
  • Monitor incidents, breaches, and complaints, and embed controls in collaboration with the Executive Team.
  • Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Offer guidance on legislative and regulatory changes impacting the company's compliance obligations.
Key Requirements:
  • Tertiary degree qualifications in law, commerce, economics, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a Compliance-based position in the financial services industry.
  • Experience with AML/CTF, AFSL, and ACL licensing requirements highly regarded.
  • Experience working with ASIC highly regarded.
