You will play a pivotal role in shaping our organisation's risk strategy and safeguarding its future. As a Risk and Compliance Manager, you will lead a team of five and collaborate closely with senior leadership and the Board to drive meaningful change.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement comprehensive risk management strategies across the business, ensuring alignment with relevant legislation and supporting informed decision-making from the frontline to the Boardroom.
- Create and maintain robust incident response frameworks, guaranteeing structure and clarity behind incident response procedures.
- Oversee insurance placements and supplier relationships, ensuring our organisation is adequately covered across all its services.
- Analyse and refine policies, procedures, and systems to ensure they are up-to-date, consistent, and practical for employees to follow.
- Lead a team of five and contribute to their development while mentoring and driving continuous improvement.
- Possess tertiary qualifications in risk management, law, or commerce.
- Demonstrate proven experience leading and implementing a risk and compliance function.
- Exhibit strong influencing and negotiation skills, coupled with high levels of commercial acumen and pragmatism.
