Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly qualified professional to assume the role of Marine Operations Specialist at our organization. In this position, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs in marine-related fields, mentoring and training technical staff, and maintaining equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive training programs for marine engineers and technicians.
  • Mentor and train technical staff in various aspects of marine operations, including equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Evaluate and maintain equipment and facilities to ensure optimal learning environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in marine-related fields, including monitoring machinery and carrying out maintenance and repairs.
  • Proven track record of managing and training technical staff.

Benefits:

  • Teaching experience in the field of engineering.
  • Experience as Electrical Officer on Canadian Coast Guard or merchant marine vessels.
