The Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Marine Mechanic Apprentice who has a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in the marine mechanical industry.

You will be hosted with Fenquin, a specialist in boating equipment and accessories for marine engines, industrial engines, and equipment, known for its parts, sales, and service support.

While working alongside qualified tradespeople, you will work in the workshop and develop skills to work on and around diesel and gasoline marine engines, vessels, and drive systems.

By the end of this four-year apprenticeship, you will have the skills and knowledge to perform a wide range of mechanical servicing and repair tasks in the marine industry.

This apprenticeship offers the opportunity to become a qualified Marine Mechanic and earn your AUR30520 Certificate III in Marine Mechanical Technology.

  • Driver's license
  • Ability to follow instructions
  • Strong commitment to safety
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Hard-working, able to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol screening, and police check
  • Previous mechanical experience is advantageous
