About the Opportunity:

You will play a key role in operationalising Tokio Marine's Risk Management Framework and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Through your work, you will help safeguard the business by ensuring that both regulatory and business risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed.

Your experience will support and collaborate with business areas to support obligations and incidents, including breaches and work with various business areas to ensure effective resolution.

As the Enterprise Risk and Remediation Specialist, you will deliver risk coaching and assist in the preparation of reports enhancing risk management skills across the business, engaging with management at all levels.

Key responsibilities include:

• Provide proactive Line 1 risk and compliance support and advice across Tokio Marine's strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee the implementation and ongoing embedment of Tokio Marine's Risk Management Framework, ensuring consistent application and compliance with regulatory obligations.
• Deliver timely and high-quality risk and regulatory advice and related training to legislative requirements impacting projects and business operations.
• Partner with business units on projects and initiatives to provide risk and compliance guidance and oversight.
• Prepare and present risk and compliance reporting for executives, regulated entity Boards, and regulators.
• Work closely and support the first line risk and remediation function overseeing operational risks and CPS230 requirements.
• Assist in delivering advice on control design in line with the risk and controls framework
• Support the design and implementation of remediation guidance and reporting requirements.
• Support in driving the execution of remediation programs efficiently and effectively in line with Policy requirements.
• Provide appropriate Line 1 risk oversight and challenge across remediation activities as needed
• Support and assist the Head of First Line Risk and Remediation to lead appropriate reporting by leveraging data to provide insights.
• Support the business in the development of customer remediation approaches to ensure fair and timely customer outcomes.
• Design and implement remediation training as required.

About You:

As our preferred candidate, you will have:

• Knowledge of risk and compliance best practice, including relevant regulations and industry standards within Insurance and/or Finance sector
• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills
• Degree qualified in commerce or finance, or similar, including professional certifications highly regarded
• Strong organisational and planning skills are essential
• Project management experience will be highly regarded
• Ability to recognise, understand and support need for change and anticipated impact on both the team and self.
• Excellent team with support and mentoring from finance professionals.
• Demonstrated risk management experience in Insurance ideally, within Financial services or risk consulting roles
