Job Summary

The Procurement and Contract Management Lead is responsible for the effective management of contracts, agreements, and tenders related to procurement activities.

This position requires developing and implementing procurement strategies, managing compliance with policies and procedures, and providing strategic advice to stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in contract management, governance, and procurement, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing procurement strategies and contract governance processes
  • Managing compliance with procurement and contract governance policies, procedures, and processes
  • Reviewing and ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of tender management processes
  • Providing strategic advice and support on procurement consultancy and contract management
  • Analyzing market research to determine industry conditions, trends, opportunities, and competition

This role requires a high degree of autonomy, expertise, and leadership. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate a strong track record in leading comprehensive procurement planning and developing strategic approaches to market.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will need to possess:

  • Extensive experience in contract management and governance, including conducting contract reviews, managing renewals, and monitoring performance to ensure compliance and value delivery
  • Ability to influence and persuade internal and external stakeholders, implement procurement practices ensuring compliance across a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Experience in managing Conflict of Interest and Probity processes
  • Proactive procurement and contract management skills, with a strong track record in leading comprehensive procurement planning and developing strategic approaches to market
  • Experience in developing KPIs within contracts, with a strong understanding of the importance of regular performance reviews
