EM ICN Commercial Manager Role Overview

This is a critical role within the Emergency Management department, seeking an experienced commercial manager to provide strategic procurement and contract management services.

  • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing complex procurements, with expertise in IT sourcing, contract, and vendor management.
Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including market analysis and strategic input to facilitate high-level decision-making by management.
  • Developing, drafting, implementing, and executing sourcing activities to establish contracts across a range of complex goods and services.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrated experience in managing critical business procurement programs supporting critical operations.
  • Expertise in managing end-to-end procurement activities, especially in IT sourcing, contract, and vendor management.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business management, legal, or similar.
  • More than 5 years of experience as a commercial manager or similar role.

The EM Technology and Data business unit is responsible for delivering key functions, including strategy and enterprise architecture, investment planning, support and development, procurement and program delivery, and vendor and contract management.
