Industrial Equipment Compliance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to ensure all equipment distributed by us adheres to relevant Australian Standards, Road Vehicle Standards, and Dangerous Goods Standards.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, or systems engineering concepts and be able to review product specifications and designs for compliance with Australian regulations.
The Compliance Specialist will play a critical role in managing engineering compliance for manufactured and distributed equipment. Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with design engineers and suppliers to implement necessary compliance modifications.
- Monitoring updates to standards and regulations, engaging in industry events to stay informed.
- Supporting preparation of technical documentation for regulatory submissions and approvals.
- Liaising with external agencies for timely approvals and providing compliance advice for aftersales issues.
To succeed in this position, the following skills and qualifications are required:
- A relevant Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or similar) or equivalent industry experience.
- Proven work experience with Australian Standards, Road Vehicle Standards, and Dangerous Goods Standards.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex regulatory documents into actionable requirements.
- Excellent communication and time management skills, with a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to work well under pressure.
