Are you ready to revolutionize payroll platforms and ensure compliance from an IR viewpoint?

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Consultant, Industrial Relations to join our team. As a key partner in delivering a next-generation payroll system, you will play a critical role in payroll compliance and driving effective remediation processes.

In this role, you will draw on your substantial expertise in Industrial Relations and a demonstrated ability to interpret complex Enterprise Agreements. You will also be responsible for designing comprehensive testing regimes and robust review processes, ensuring that the payroll platform meets current obligations and is resilient to future changes in industrial regulations.

To succeed in this role, you will need considerable experience in industrial/employee relations, including specialist expertise in employment law. You will also require hands-on experience with payroll, a detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks, and a proven track record of successfully implementing compliance measures within large organizations.

We are looking for someone who is an adept collaborator, able to work seamlessly across departments and partner with Legal teams to clarify and action compliance requirements. You will also need to engage with IT professionals to translate IR needs into technical solutions.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to present findings, explain regulatory considerations, and facilitate training. Tertiary qualified with a degree in Employee/Industrial Relations/Human Resources/Law or related discipline.

  • Experience: Considerable experience in industrial/employee relations, including specialist expertise in employment law
  • Payroll Experience: Hands-on experience with payroll and a detailed understanding of relevant legislative frameworks
  • Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly across departments and partner with Legal teams
