As a technical professional working in a scientific organisation, your role will involve providing expert guidance and support to team members, management and stakeholders on storage systems, integrated technology services, standards and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality technical advice and guidance on storage systems and integrated technology services
  • Develop and maintain industry-recognised standards and procedures for the team
  • Collaborate with team members, management and stakeholders to achieve organisational objectives

The ideal candidate will possess a relevant trade certificate, diploma or bachelor's degree in science, engineering, computer science or information technology, as well as knowledge of storage hardware architectures and programming languages.

Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Experience with high-level automation techniques using languages such as Python, Ansible, Shell scripting and PowerBI/Kibana
  • Experience or familiarity with NetApp Storage Administration and data protection concepts
  • Knowledge of block, file and object protocols

This is a permanent position based in Canberra, with a competitive salary range plus superannuation.
