Key Roles and Responsibilities

To excel in this position, you will provide pre-sales technical support for complex products and applications. This involves utilizing your technical expertise and data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs through sales presentations and product demonstrations.

  • Assess the potential application of our data storage solutions to meet customer needs and prepare detailed specifications.
  • Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex data storage systems and applications.
  • Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility.
  • Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.

As a senior expert, you will be responsible for designing tailored data technology solutions to address unique customer challenges. You will convey the advantages of our data storage solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.

  • Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems that meet customer needs.
  • Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications, including Cloud Services.
  • Provide deep insights into Storage and Data Management vendor ecosystem and prior experience on backup solutions.
  • Create ROI/TCO overview and competitive advantages of solution offerings.
  • Collaborate with client executives and partner sales to create strategies for developing customer opportunities related to data storage solutions.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • At least 8 years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on data storage product and services.
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory and NV1 or higher security clearance is preferred.
  • Prior experience as Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on data storage technologies.
  • Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and influence Sales team, driving initiatives and acting as a decision-maker on Projects.
  • Experience working with EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware, or PureStorage products.
  • Prior knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application, or DevOps is advantageous.
  • Interest and/or knowledge in Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform.
  • Interest and/or knowledge in hybrid multi-cloud technologies, AI Platform.
