Job Title: Senior Storage Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Storage Administrator to support, maintain and manage the technical aspects of our managed IT Infrastructure system on a permanent position.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing operational tasks, resolving incidents and requests in a timely manner, and ensuring that all required information is captured for immediate resolution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Support and maintain the technical aspects of our managed IT Infrastructure system
  • Work independently to perform operational tasks and resolve incidents/requests in a timely manner
  • Proactively identify, investigate and analyse issues and errors prior to or when they occur
  • Plan, coordinate and implement complex system changes within specified change windows
  • Monitor performance levels and capacity of supported devices and networks
  • Identify recurring issues and initiate problem management
  • Contribute to automation efforts for effort optimization and automating routine tasks
  • Maintain detailed and accurate technical documentation and operational procedures for supported solutions
  • Assist with project delivery to ensure projects deliver to stated business benefits

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Australian Citizenship
  • AGSVA Security Clearance at NV1 level
  • Technical skills in DellEMC Compute, Storage and Backup, Windows Server, Linux (RHEL), Vmware and Server Infrastructure (DellEMC, HP, Cisco)
  • Automation technologies including Ansible and Jenkins
  • ITIL Foundation certification v3/v4
  • Linux (RHCSA/RHCE) certification
  • MCSA/MCSE certification in Windows Server or Cloud Platform
  • VMWare (VCP) certification
  • DellEMC Storage certifications
