
Strategic Storage Solutions Leader

As a Storage Solutions Expert, you will provide pre-sales technical support for complex products/applications/solutions. You will utilise your technical expertise and our cutting-edge data storage portfolio to address customers' technical needs and deliver successful business results.
- Provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Assist sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions.
- Create detailed design and implementation specifications for complex products/applications/solutions.
- Build mini-applications based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for clients.
- Provide consultation to prospective users and/or product capability assessment and validation.
- Design tailored storage technology solutions to address unique customer challenges.
- Convey the advantages of storage solutions through presentations, demonstrations, and discussions.
- Design and architect on-premise or hybrid storage systems, requiring knowledge of NAS, SAN, and Object Storage.
- Develop storage infrastructure and data management solutions for enterprise applications, including Cloud Services.
- Provide deep insights into Storage and Data Management vendor ecosystems, with prior experience on backup solutions.
- Create ROI/TCO overview and competitive advantages of solution offerings.
- Collaborate with client executives and partner sales to create strategies for developing customer opportunities related to storage solutions.
- Advise on engagement and utilization of broader technical resources.
- Offer technical expertise on storage products and solutions.
- At least 8 years of experience and expertise in technical specifications on storage products and services.
- Australian Citizenship is mandatory, and NV1 or higher security clearance is preferred.
- Prior experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Architect, or Solutions Engineering on storage technologies.
- Operate as Subject-Matter-Expert (SME) and influence Sales teams, driving initiatives and acting as a Decision-maker on Projects.
- Experience working with EMC, HDS, HPE, IBM, VMware, or PureStorage products.
- Prior knowledge in Cloud, Storage, AI/ML, Database, Microservice, Enterprise Application, or DevOps is advantageous.
- Knowledge of Docker/Container & Kubernetes (K8S) platform and hybrid multi-cloud technologies, AI Platform is desired.
