Senior Contract Administrator Role Summary:
As a seasoned professional in commercial construction, you will oversee $500m worth of projects with our client, a respected head contractor. This opportunity offers a chance to join a global construction leader on a high-profile CBD project that is sustainably built.
About the Role:
- Lead an experienced contract administration team to ensure smooth project delivery
- Mentor and develop junior staff and engineers to enhance their skills
- Report regional data to national leadership for informed decision-making
- Prepare subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules, and progress claims
- Assist with external variations and review, negotiate, and finalize subcontracts
- Manage and track project expenditure, including subcontractor claims
- Administer RFIs to clients, architects, and consultants, as well as the project HSE system
Requirements:
- Degree qualified in construction management or equivalent field
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior CA role in commercial construction, preferably with a Tier one or two head contractor
- Previous exposure to high-rise hospital, pharmaceutical, or complex commercial projects valued at $250m+
- Knowledge of the South Australian construction market and its subcontractors
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
