Commercial Project Manager

- Manage and ensure compliance with client contracts throughout the project lifecycle
- Oversee project start up, procurement, delivery and close out processes
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to clients
- Manage subcontractors from onboarding to claim assessments
- Monitor commissioning activities including documentation
- Collaborate with the project team to ensure adherence to procedures, policies, and contractual obligations
- Maintain relevant registers that track and substantiate the projects commercial position
- Contribute to the project commercial strategy and drive commercial outcomes
The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with project contractual agreements.
Key skills and qualifications include:
- Sound working knowledge of project administration and project control
- Analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Positive negotiation, conflict and influencing skills
- Written and oral communication skills with an ability to present information to a range of audiences
- Proficiency in the MS Office Suite, intermediate to advanced Excel skills
