Offender Reintegration Specialist

The Offender Services Officer plays a pivotal role in coordinating transition, reintegration, and specialist programs and services for individuals in custody. As part of a multidisciplinary team, the role supports pre-release and discharge planning, facilitates access to relevant information, and assists in organizing cultural and religious events, video visits, and other offender services activities ensuring timely scheduling and effective communication with internal staff and contracted service providers.
The position provides essential business and operational support to the broader Offender Services team, contributing to the smooth and efficient delivery of all functions. Responsibilities include maintaining office systems and databases, contributing to local projects and performance reporting, and supporting contracted service providers onsite by coordinating inductions, access requirements, and scheduling.
Some key duties of this role include:
- Collaborating with stakeholders to develop and coordinate transition, reintegration, and specialist programs and services.
- Providing administrative support and implementing project activities to enhance service delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will have experience in coordinating programs, services, or activities within a custodial, community, or human services environment, including stakeholder engagement and logistical support. Proficiency in administrative systems and data management is also required, as well as knowledge of reintegration and support pathways.
