Championing Rehabilitation and Reintegration

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Reintegration and Rehabilitation Specialist. This critical role is part of the multi-disciplinary Offender Services team responsible for delivering a range of programs and services.
">About the Role:

- Support the delivery of the Corrections Victoria Reintegration Pathway in a prison environment.">
- Administer prisoner risk and needs assessment tools to effectively identify rehabilitation and reintegration requirements, making referrals to relevant programs and services as required.">
- Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams to develop integrated and effective transition and other specialist support plans, including actively involving and motivating prisoners to engage in goal setting and program/service participation.">
Requirements:
">- ">
- Demonstrated understanding of the specific transition and reintegration issues and needs of prisoners.">
- Demonstrated ability to administer risk and/or welfare assessment tools.">
- Effective stakeholder management skills.">
- Ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with diverse cohorts, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.">
- Demonstrated capability to work with people who are difficult to engage individually, and in group settings.">
About You:
">To be successful in this role, you will have a tertiary qualification in an appropriate discipline, preferably in human services, welfare practice or related fields. Your demonstrated skills and experience in these areas are highly regarded.
