As a Field Officer, you play a pivotal role in helping offenders reintegrate into society by supervising them at community work sites and other programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise teams of offenders to ensure successful project completion
  • Represent the organization professionally and ethically at all times
  • Promote the rehabilitative benefits of community work programs to offenders

A typical day may involve tasks such as litter collection, mowing, and weeding or cooking meals for disadvantaged community members. You may also have the opportunity to participate in bike repair programs or other initiatives that support the local community.

To be successful in this role, you will need strong communication skills, experience in supervisory roles, and the ability to manage conflict and build rapport with others.

While prior experience working with offenders is not necessary, having skills in areas such as food service, landscaping, or mechanical skills is beneficial. We encourage applicants to highlight relevant skills and qualifications.
