An exciting opportunity exists to lead our pricing team in high growth private businesses. This role is integral to our overall new business and customer retention strategy.
Job DescriptionAs a Pricing Strategy Lead, you will set the pricing strategy to win, maintain and improve margin in SME & Mid Market segments. You will also lead a team of Commercial Analysts and Administrators, and develop winning strategies for Solution Bids.
Key Responsibilities- Process efficiencies and innovation in bidding, price increases, reviews, re-signs, static catalogues
- Develop a competitive matrix - market intel, blind spots, strengths/weaknesses
- Streamline the Commercial Pricing team's Administration support
You are a strategic thinker with strong business acumen and an affinity for numbers. Curious and results oriented, you focus on the Big Picture Perspective and have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
To be considered for the role, you must display:
- - Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role in pricing team leader roles
- - Thorough understanding of profit drivers and cost based analysis
- - Strong market understanding ideally with thorough knowledge in FMCG and B2B environments
- - Customer centricity and high level of adaptability
