**Operations Manager Service Delivery Support**
About the roleOur organisation requires an experienced Operations Manager to lead, manage and mentor a team in the development, delivery and continuous improvement of services and functions. The successful candidate will ensure value outcomes to clients and represent the team in meetings and at forums.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage the team in the development, delivery and continuous improvement of services and functions.
- Ensure value outcomes to clients and represent the team in meetings and at forums.
- Build and maintain effective, collaborative relationships with all stakeholders relevant to the services managed by the team.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholder engagement staff to ensure services are providing value to clients.
- Identify and manage risks, develop strategies, and implement improvements in management practices, tools and procedures to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Lead and actively promote a supportive culture within the team through continuous collaboration and information sharing.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading and managing technical staff in the support of technologies and delivery of services. They will possess excellent stakeholder engagement skills, including an ability to consult, negotiate and influence others. Strong leadership and management skills are essential, as well as the ability to understand organisational objectives and prioritise work tasks that align with strategic objectives.
Mandatory RequirementsWhile there are no mandatory requirements for this position, strong knowledge in ITIL/ITSM, ServiceNow, systems monitoring and management tools, dashboarding/reporting and programming/scripting languages would be advantageous.
