Job Description
As the Delivery and Operations Lead, you'll lead a national mobile events team to deliver exceptional ADF Careers experiences across Australia. You'll ensure consistent, high-quality practices across all event types and play a key role in attracting candidates from regional and remote areas through mobile outreach initiatives. Your focus will be on operational excellence, innovation, and collaboration with Defence stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams. You'll also support the rollout of new platforms and tools, ensuring your team is equipped, engaged, and ready to deliver. You will:
- Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of national mobile ADF Careers events, ensuring consistency, compliance, and quality across all formats.
- Drive process improvement and innovation through standardised tools, training resources, and new technologies to enhance stakeholder and candidate experiences.
- Manage WHS compliance, risk mitigation, and regulatory obligations in partnership with Adecco WHS and Facilities teams.
- Oversee scheduling, logistics, and delivery of MACC tours, aligning with recruitment needs and regional opportunities using demographic insights.
- Build strong relationships with ADF, internal teams, vendors, and community partners to support seamless event execution.
- Provide data-driven insights to support planning, systems integration (e.g., Dynamics 365, Career Discovery Hub), and continuous improvement.
- Mentor and develop a high-performing team to deliver engaging and accessible events across metro, regional, and remote locations.
- Ensure timely reporting and governance of mobile operations, maintaining high service standards and contract alignment with Defence and the Commonwealth.
- Travel as needed to oversee event operations and maintain alignment with national standards.

- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage high-performing teams to achieve operational and strategic objectives.
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate across cross-functional teams to drive alignment, ensure consistency, and deliver improvements that enhance the candidate experience.
- Extensive experience in planning and delivering high-profile events and conferences with exceptional attention to detail, ensuring successful outcomes and stakeholder satisfaction.
- Demonstrated capability in developing and executing strategic plans for mobile operations, aligning activities with broader organisational goals.
- Strong expertise in planning, coordinating, and managing end-to-end logistics for mobile operations and geographically dispersed event locations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise, negotiate, and influence a wide range of stakeholders and clients.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills, with a proven ability to meet deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail.
- Highly developed problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to resolve challenges proactively and effectively.
