Job Title: Infrastructure Support Specialist

Overview

The Infrastructure Support Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mission-critical software applications. Key Responsibilities include:

  • System Operations & Maintenance: Monitor, maintain, and optimize infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability across environments.
  • Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Provide responsive support, diagnose system issues, and coordinate with engineering teams for escalations.
  • Configuration & Change Control: Manage configurations and implement approved changes in line with protocols and change management procedures.
  • Security & Compliance: Uphold security standards, apply patches and updates, and support accreditation and audit activities to meet cybersecurity requirements.
  • Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Work with stakeholders to identify opportunities for enhancements and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Infrastructure Expertise: Strong experience with servers, virtualization (e.g., VMware), and networking fundamentals.
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Knowledge of security standards, patching, system hardening, and accreditation processes.
  • ITIL & Change Management: Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management; ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Problem-Solving & Communication: Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to collaborate with technical teams.
