Job Title: Infrastructure Specialist

This role supports the provision of operational infrastructure services, encompassing a broad range of technical disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day operational support across various infrastructure technologies, including switch and access point provisioning and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with the management of firewall and SD-WAN configurations, as well as support tasks related to enterprise backup systems.
  • Maintain and support critical infrastructure components, such as DNS and domain registration services (AWS Route 53).
  • Support the general AWS EC2 platform and package applications within Microsoft Intune for deployment and testing.
  • Provide basic administration support for Microsoft Exchange services, both on-premises and online.
  • Engage in general infrastructure support for onboarding new sites and technology services, maintaining SOPs, documentation, and process knowledge across supported platforms.
  • Collaborate with vendors and partners to resolve BAU issues and escalated technical incidents.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5-10 years' experience in a generalist infrastructure role, preferably supporting enterprise network platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with HPE Aruba switching and wireless technologies is essential.
  • Strong exposure to Fortinet firewall and SD-WAN solutions is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, Exchange, and backup technologies is required.
  • Industry certification in networking and cloud platforms is highly regarded.
  • Hands-on experience in managing and supporting Microsoft Intune, M365, Azure AD, and AWS platforms is essential.
  • Basic scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell) are highly valued.
  • Demonstrated ability to structure and execute infrastructure projects effectively.
  • Understanding of ITIL principles for Incident, Change, and Problem Management is necessary.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills across all levels of the organisation are essential.
