Job Title: IT Infrastructure Support Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an IT Infrastructure Support Specialist.

As a key member of our team, you will work alongside experienced professionals in the world's largest computing infrastructure, providing technical support and maintenance services.

The role requires a high level of technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostics and troubleshoot all hardware and related problems.
  • Perform basic level OS troubleshooting.
  • Perform basic level configuration troubleshooting.
  • Replace parts of and devices.
  • Sanitise and destroy storage media (HDD, SSD etc.).
  • Maintain system reliability by prioritising resolution of trouble tickets efficiently.
  • Follow operational processes and guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of IT hardware and its configurations.
  • Basic IT troubleshooting experience and/or knowledge.
  • Ability to lift & rack equipment using our lifting equipment.
  • A valid driver's license and own vehicle for travel between sites.
