Live Event Technology Specialist

This role involves hands-on IT support and technical operations in dynamic environments. The IT Events Administrator will provide the technical foundation behind live events, combining office-based system administration with field deployments.
Key responsibilities include creating bespoke IT solutions for events, delivering on-site IT support, and administering ticketing IT infrastructure and access control infrastructure at client venues.
The successful candidate will bring hands-on technical expertise with experience in L1/L2 support environments, ideally with field service or multi-site support. They will be comfortable with Windows servers, access control technologies, and data services.
The role requires strong client-facing communication, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, organized with the ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Technical Operations:
- Create bespoke IT solutions for events
- Deliver on-site IT support
- Administer ticketing IT infrastructure and access control infrastructure
- Coordinate preventative maintenance and respond to urgent technical needs
- Client & Venue Management:
- Collaborate professionally with clients
- Provide technical guidance and support during high-pressure event situations
Requirements:
- At least one year of hands-on IT support experience (L1/L2)
- Multi-site or field service exposure preferred
- Experience supporting end users across multiple locations
- Technical expertise in Windows 10/11 administration, POS system management, and VPN technologies
