Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with senior management to set a strategy for one of Australia's leading adoption programs.
- Lead change initiatives and process improvements to align with organisational goals and One Welfare principles.
- Foster a safety-focused culture across all centres, ensuring a secure environment for animals, staff, and visitors.
- Financial Acumen
- Maintain cost-effective service standards across all aspects of animal operations.
- Review and report on monthly and annual financials, identifying areas for improvement.
- Operational Management
- Lead and develop a team of dedicated managers.
- Implement efficient systems and policies to enhance productivity and efficiency.
- Evaluate performance and ensure high standards of customer service and animal care.
- Provide operational support and expert guidance to centre managers and their teams.
- Relationship Management
- Nurture strong relationships with local councils and key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with fundraising, marketing, and commercial teams to identify and secure partnerships, grants, and new adoption initiatives.
