Software Quality Assurance Director

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage release planning to align with programme objectives.
  • Develop and update test strategies and plans in line with delivery methodologies.
  • Oversee testing information systems and governance across squads and agile teams.
  • Ensure quality control and manage business outcomes.
  • Accountable for testing services, including deliverables from Test Leads and Testers.
  • Plan and execute test activities for various testing deliverables.
  • Monitor and manage test reporting at programme, project, and squad levels.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications in Software Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of QA experience, preferably at a Lead or Senior level.
  • Strong technical skills in functional and non-functional areas, including manual and automation testing.
  • Proven expertise in implementing test automation solutions.
  • Experience in Agile software development environments.
  • Native app mobile testing skills, including automation.
  • Ability to implement and direct quality assurance principles and maintain delivery quality.
  • Knowledge of performance, security, accessibility, and operational acceptance.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, enthusiastic, and assertive.
