About the Role

We are seeking a visionary leader to oversee our animal rehoming programs and drive strategic growth. This pivotal role involves overseeing multiple Rehoming Centres, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and a One Welfare approach.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Vision & Strategy: Collaborate with senior leadership to set and implement a comprehensive strategy for adoption programmes.
    • Change Management: Champion process improvements and change management initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
    • Safety Culture: Embed a safety-focused culture across all centres, prioritising staff and animal welfare.
  • Operational Excellence:
    • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of passionate managers, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
    • Efficiency & Productivity: Develop and implement systems to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
    • Standards & Compliance: Ensure high standards of animal care and customer service are maintained across all centres.
  • Relationship Building:
    • Council & Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain relationships with local councils, stakeholders, and key partners.
    • Partnerships & Growth: Identify opportunities for corporate partnerships, grant funding, and other revenue streams.
    Requirements
    • A minimum of 5 years' experience in animal welfare or a related field.
    • Proven experience in multi-site operations and leadership roles.
    • A valid driver's licence and commitment to regular site visits.
