Oversee the strategic direction of a renowned animal welfare organisation as the Head of Animal Operations, shaping the vision for rehoming programs and collaborating with local councils to achieve success.

Main Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Work closely with the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to establish strategy for one of Australia's most effective adoption programs, focused on finding permanent homes for companion animals.
  • Operational Management: Lead a team of managers, ensuring efficient systems and policies are implemented across all Rehoming Centres to enhance productivity and efficiency.
  • Relationship Management: Foster relationships with local councils and other stakeholders, identifying partnerships and opportunities to grow reach and impact.
Essential Qualifications and Experience
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Animal Care or Animal Shelter industry.
  • Proven experience in managing multi-site operations.
