Job Overview

The role of Senior Customer Success Manager is a highly driven and motivated position responsible for building strong customer relationships and delivering exceptional customer experiences.

This includes being a trusted advisor and advocate for the customer base, assisting directly with product adoption and optimization, contributing to increased customer retention and minimizing the risk of churn.

Key Responsibilities
  • Become a key player in building customer partnerships; understand customer goals and challenges and provide tailored solutions and recommendations.
  • Develop strategic success plans in collaboration with customers and influence customer outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of Mimecast's core product suite and utilize it to support customers with adoption and feature utilization.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advise customers on how to manage these through their applications and integrations.
  • Set a clear vision for your customer portfolio and proactively own your book of business; continuously monitor customer health and performance metrics and leverage this information to identify opportunities for improvement, risk mitigation and churn prevention.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a Customer Success or Account Management role within a software as a service (SaaS) or technology company.
  • Exceptional customer, partner and market orientation in software and subscription services.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute against success plans and influence customer outcomes.
  • Tech savvy: able to learn new technologies and stay current with system enhancements.
  • Analytical mindset and ability to leverage data for informed decision-making.
  • Results-driven with a focus on customer satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth.
