Project Delivery Lead Position

The role of a Project Delivery Lead is crucial in the Centre of Excellence, where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining frameworks, processes, tools, and artefacts to support project execution capabilities.

  • Develop and maintain frameworks, processes, tools, and artefacts suitable for project execution capabilities, ensuring the delivery and governance of programs and projects.
  • Act as the primary contact for managing cross-practice frameworks, providing expert advice on project management (PM) processes and frameworks to program/project practitioners, stakeholders, and business leaders.
  • Advocate for and encourage a consistent and unified approach to program and project management.
  • Ensure compliance with frameworks, standard policies, practices, and project deliverables, obtaining approval from relevant discipline owners for any deviations.
  • Collaborate with divisional centres of excellence, PMOs, and communities of practice across the group to share best practices in various disciplines.
Requirements for the Role:

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Possesses strong strategic advisory skills and thought leadership, with direct experience in identifying, documenting, and implementing program and project standards.
  • Has experience and/or certification in multiple project management methodologies (such as PMBOK, PRINCE2, and SAFe) and practices.
  • Can work effectively within a team and also independently as required.
  • Develops trustworthy relationships with stakeholders to facilitate empowered program and project decision-making.
  • Possesses strong collaboration and influencing skills, particularly in working with dispersed teams at all levels within the organization.
  • Possesses exceptional analytical, conceptual thinking, and execution skills.
  • Has demonstrated experience in supporting the delivery of complex projects through effective governance, project management, and planning processes.
  • Can adjust their interaction style to suit a range of business and technical audiences.
