Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled individual to fill the role of Development Programme Integration Office (PIO) and Program Execution & Control Manager. This leadership position is responsible for overseeing the business rigor of the E-7 Development Programme.

This role requires a strong leader who can manage and direct programme activities, including integrated planning and scheduling, change management, project management, enabling functions and programme operating rhythm. The successful candidate will be able to ensure alignment and integration of work at all levels within the E7 Development Programme and horizontally with the E7 Cored PIO.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage and direct programme activities to achieve successful and timely completion.
  • Ensure effective execution of high-level management functions, including customer liaison, business awareness and contracting mechanisms.
  • Lead the management of sub-contractors and have a broad range of functional experience in finance, scheduling, production control, trade controls, intellectual property management, metrics management, quality, subcontracting and procurement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  1. Tertiary qualification in a business-related field, e.g. Programme Management, Finance, Engineering discipline.
  2. Demonstrated skills in managing large acquisition scale, complex projects to successful and timely completion.
  3. Demonstrated ability to effectively liaise with company and customer representatives.
  4. Australian citizenship and eligibility for an Australian Department of Defence security clearance to Secret level and satisfaction of ITAR requirements.
  5. High level leadership and people skills and the ability to recognise high achievers and grow their skills.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and negotiation skills, experience in a military or commercial aerospace environment, and the ability to navigate and lead through complex change management.
