Electoral Event Coordinator Role

The Electoral Event Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the organization's electoral process. This key position is responsible for ensuring seamless project planning, coordination, and execution across various levels of government.

  • Coordinate project planning to ensure timely delivery of electoral events.
  • Develop and implement project documentation, including plans, risk registers, schedules, issues and lessons registers, budget tracking, and closure reports.
  • Contribute to the preparation of strategic advice provided to senior executives on election projects.
  • Support users of governance artefacts, including by-election planning tools and event-related reporting tools and registers.
  • Assist with cost estimates for by-elections in collaboration with team members.
  • Contribute to the delivery of post-election evaluation programs, capturing lessons learned and applying best practice change methodologies.

This role requires close collaboration with key stakeholders to promote a coordinated approach to electoral event preparation and governance. Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential, as well as experience working with external stakeholders, preparing briefs and reports for senior executives, and contributing to procedural documentation development.
