Occupational Rehabilitation Opportunity

This role offers a unique chance to gain hands-on experience in occupational rehabilitation. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of high-performing consultants, providing case management support and ensuring excellent customer service delivery.

The position provides opportunities for skill development in various areas, including workers' compensation, case management, ADL assessments, vocational assessments, transferable skills analysis, labour market analysis, and project work.

As a student interested in pursuing occupational rehabilitation as a future career path, you will receive training from professionals and have the opportunity to transition into a consultant role upon completion of your qualifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide case management support to consultants delivering rehabilitation services
  • Ensure excellence and quality of customer and client service delivery
  • Drive improved return to work outcomes for clients

Requirements:

  • Currently undertaking (3rd or 4th year) or completed an undergraduate allied health tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Rehabilitation Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, and Health Science is desired
  • Administrative experience within the health, medical, insurance or worker's compensation field is highly regarded
  • Genuine interest in occupational rehabilitation
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Exceptional written communication skills for a professional setting
  • Drive to achieve results
  • Proficiency with computer use (Microsoft office suite)
  • Excellent time management skills, be able to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
