This is a dynamic role for an occupational rehabilitation specialist who will be responsible for assessing, planning and implementing workplace rehabilitative programs to help clients achieve positive return to work outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, relevant tertiary qualifications, AHPRA or ESSA registration, industry experience in occupational rehabilitation and knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management.

Key responsibilities include assessing workers' transferable skills and potential through early intervention assessments, job task analyses, ergonomic assessments and case management services.

The Rehabilitation Consultant will also be required to liaise with insurance companies, medical practitioners, employers and employees, develop and implement workplace rehabilitative programs, and market the WorkSafe Incentive Scheme for Employers to organisations.

Requirements include relevant tertiary qualifications, AHPRA or ESSA registration, industry experience in occupational rehabilitation and knowledge of workers' compensation and injury management.

Outstanding communication and networking skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work independently and as part of a team.

Australian driver's licence and eligibility to work permanently in Australia are also required.
