
System Support Specialist

The role involves ensuring the reliability, stability, and efficiency of trading systems across APAC, with collaboration across Australia, Singapore, and Europe.
Key Responsibilities- System Monitoring & Stability: Monitor IT platforms, investigate alerts, resolve incidents, and ensure system run continuity.
- User Support: Provide application support to local trading users (pre-trade, trade life cycle, post-trade, pricing, Greeks, VaR, valuation). Gather feedback and liaise with development teams.
- Incident Management: Collaborate with global support teams in Singapore and Paris to resolve issues within a Follow-the-Sun model.
- Process & Documentation: Contribute to operational procedures, maintain monitoring tools, and document recurring incidents for continuous improvement.
- Continuous Improvement: Share insights, propose enhancements, and support system release activities.
- University degree in IT Engineering, Mathematics, or related field.
- 5–10 years' experience in IT application support within trading or portfolio management environments.
- Strong understanding of trading workflows; exposure to derivatives or commodities is a plus.
- Solid technical background in Windows environments, SQL, and scripting.
- Experience in monitoring and supporting large-scale IT systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, global environment with resilience and initiative.
