Job Overview

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a world-leading cloud platform that powers businesses across the globe. We're seeking a skilled Data Center Network Capacity Planning Specialist to join our team in APAC.

About the Role

We are looking for a passionate and talented technical program manager to drive data center and network capacity planning in APAC. As a key member of our team, you will assess demand requirements and available network resources to determine prime solutions for our customers. You will work with stakeholders to complete pre-requisites necessary to deliver critical networking capacity.

Responsibilities
  1. Monitor network health, customer demand, anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective action as appropriate.
  2. Work with stakeholders to define requirements and processes.
  3. Manage dependencies and interfaces between projects and negotiate trade-offs needed.
  4. Provide regular program progress reporting.
  5. Ensure end-to-end responsibility for program execution and success.
  6. Manage multiple competing projects simultaneously.
  7. Develop scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions.
Requirements

We require a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or an equivalent technical degree. Alternatively, 3+ years of technical infrastructure management experience with varying scenarios of infrastructure builds is also acceptable.

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer knowledge of best practices and emerging technologies related to infrastructure. 2+ years of experience using reporting and analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau, SQL) is also beneficial.

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
